Aspects™ monitors desktop computers, laptop PCs, handheld PCs, IT cabinets, servers, ancillary IT equipment, audio-visual equipment and all other high value equipment. The primary components of the Aspects™ system are long-range active RFID tags that are attached to assets which are tracked or monitored. The tags communicate with RF sensors strategically located around your company building. The RF Sensors are then linked via wireless repeaters or on a data bus to the Aspects™ software. The Aspects™ software then displays real-time location of tagged assets on a second by second basis. The system enables authorisation of portable assets (such as laptop PCs) to leave the building or a secure area - this "buddying" of asset and personnel takes place unobtrusively using Personnel tags.

The Aspects™ Asset Management Software is the control centre for all asset management and security issues. The complete history of an asset or employee's movement is logged by the system through the use of active asset and personnel tags.

When an unauthorised event occurs important security information is immediately visible in the alarm monitor. Security controllers can see graphical and form views of an alarm event as it is happening.

Aspects™ can be integrated with other security systems in a building such as personnel Access Control, CCTV, and Alarm Management systems.

Aspects™ is multi-user, easy to use, and information can be shared across multiple departments, buildings or even international borders. The Aspects™ software can be interrogated for information such as the last whereabouts of an asset, when it is due for maintenance, which assets are obsolete and require replacement, or inventory management.
